Nila Oak is a singer/musician and a composer since an early age. Having been formed as a classical guitarist, she was later on attracted to indian classical music and especially its rythmic aspect through tablas which she studied for 6 years in India. When she came back to Europe in 2012, she started discovering the picking folk style of bluegrass through her friendship with the musican Pascal Gravante and from that, composed couple of indie-folk songs which she home-recorded from 2015 to 2018 in her album Trails. She’s still composing and studies at the same time the slide indian guitar and lap steel.
